I’m excited to officially announce our April Local Legends Music Series artist, The Black Honkeys!

This legendary Tampa Bay supergroup has been lighting up stages since 2001 and is widely known as one of the most dynamic, feel‑good bands on the Gulf Coast. Voted “Best in the Bay” multiple times, The Black Honkeys deliver a high‑energy blend of Motown, funk, soul, R&B, and rock‑and‑roll, mixed with their own original, dance‑floor‑filling jams. If you’re ready to groove barefoot in the sand, this is the band that brings it every single time.

My Local Legends Music Series is a monthly celebration of the musicians who helped shape the sound of St. Pete and Tampa, artists woven into the cultural fabric of the Gulf Coast. These are bands you don’t see on my stage every day, which makes each show a truly special moment on my stretch of sand.
